Hillary Clinton, Blacks, and Christianity

Hillary Clinton
I am so tired of the media and the government fucking with Hillary Clinton. Why in the hell is the FBI investigating her emails when the 11 hour interrogation proved that she did nothing wrong? It has been shown that the documents were not classified when they were sent. She used her private email server. So fucking what. There was no law requiring her to use an email address though the State. Now all of this shit has changed, so she did not break any laws that were in place at the time. Putting national security at risk? If any of her emails did contain sensitive information, don’t you think that someone would have used it by now?
EDIT: The FBI found that there was no wrong doing but are still pursuing. Of course they pull this shit while she is running for president because they hate her and don’t want her to win now that it is within her reach. Why don't the American people want a female president? Other major countries have had female leaders. I don't want to hear bullshit about hormones and menstruation. She's almost 70 years old for fuck's sake. She probably went through menopause 20 years ago!
Has Hillary Clinton said and done some foolishness? Of course she has, not only is she human she is also a politician. She is a realist and the best choice for President. Bernie Sanders is an idealist which is all fine and good, but we need someone who will take action. Asking for Wall Street to give us money to pay for all the free shit he is promising is ridiculous. I hate how he is highlighted for getting arrested at the March on Washington during the Civil Rights movement. What has he done for the rights of minorities since then? Just because Hillary did not get arrested did not mean that she wasn’t involved.
Hillary met Dr. King when she was a teenager and decided that she would join the cause and fight. She has continuously done this throughout her political career which by the way started when she was a teenager and not when she married Bill. She majored in Political Science at Wellesley. People want to talk about her flip flopping when it came to changing parties. Well, she was a Republican during the Nixon and Southern Strategy bullshit when the parties began to change. She realized what was happening and immediately switched parties. Yes she campaigned and worked for Republican politicians, but she wanted to be sure that the party was really going to shit. Her dad was so pissed that she switched that their relationship never fully recovered. (He ran for local office as an independent leaning Democrat and was beaten by a regular Democrat. He was pissed and hated the party for the rest of his life.)
Hillary has been my political inspiration for 20 years. I had the pleasure of campaigning for her in ’08 which was hands down the best experience of my life. I plan on getting involved on the campaign trail this summer after she is officially declared the nominee.
Black people and Christianity
I have identified as an Agnostic Atheist for the better part of 6 years. I started questioning when I was about 17. I was born and raised in the Church and knew nothing different. How am I supposed to know that I truly believe it if I’m not exposed to anything different? I don’t think any religion should be forced upon anyone especially children. My mother feels some type of way that I have “strayed” from the Church and is convinced that I prayed and asked God for something and he did not deliver.
This is absolutely not the case. I just started thinking critically about religion, beliefs, and did some soul searching. I came to the conclusion that human minds are finite and we are unable to know one way or the other if a Supreme Being exists because our capacity cannot handle that. I also decided that I do not believe in anything. Hence, the term Agnostic Atheist.
Now that I am socially aware which I have been for the past 3 years, I cannot fathom why black people are ultra-religious. Christianity is the religion of the colonizers and slave masters. I do not understand how black people can believe in a white religious figure. Do they forget why they became Christians in the first place? It was forced upon our ancestors by the white man. Some of these people claim to have a problem with white people because of racism but are quick to pray and thank the Lord. Self-hate, institutionalized racism, and religious brainwashing is the way I see it. Ancient African religions still exist and instead of exploring their culture, they accept what they have always known. It actually pisses me off too. I feel like it is a double standard. They want to be Pan-African, have black pride, and talk about going to the Motherland, but claim to be Christians. Christianity was spread by white people who believed that those with other religions were savages and less than. Because of the constant brainwashing, black people began to believe what the colonizers said was true. Black people now look down upon those with ancestral based religions even though those were the religions of their ancestors.
Now that I am becoming more and more socially aware, I realize that I despise Christianity and other religions that were spread and forced upon black people. They have lost their culture. They continuously wanna talk about the white man and slavery, but not the white man’s religion that was forced upon them. I know it is hard to get away from that because black people can trace their religious beliefs back to slavery when slaves converted to Christianity. Ironically Negro spirituals were Christian based songs about freedom from oppression. Because the slaves were brainwashed, they did not realize the Christian songs they were singing was the exact reason why they were oppressed. Slavery was justified by the Bible and Christianity. These spirituals and other Christian traditions were passed down from generation to generation as a symbol of hope for black people. Black people often blindly follow these traditions without questioning. That is what happened to my mother and her family. Now that we are both becoming more socially aware, I think that she is struggling. We have not talked about how she feels now towards Christianity, but it is all she knows and it will be hard for her to let go. She did tell me that she was researching African religions and they kind of lined up with Christianity. I was like why do you think that is? Christianity is a rip off from other religions and traditions. The Epic of Gilgamesh, regarded as the oldest book, talks about a great flood. Low and behold the Bible talks about a great flood. Christians want to criticize other religions when theirs is a combination of many.

Religion is a man-made coping mechanism.  It is used to explain why things happen and to give hope to people. Sometimes shit just happens and you don’t need an outside source such as religion to give you hope, find it within. It always pisses me off when my mom says “But God.” Like when I worked my ass off to pass a standardized teaching test, her response was “But God.” Are you fucking kidding me?! I was the one who studied and worked my ass off to pass and you want to give God credit? You can give God credit for your accomplishments if you want, but keep that shit out of mine. Religion is generally the cause of many wars anyway. It’s dumb, you’re fighting over shit that doesn’t exist and who’s right and wrong? Karl Marx had the right of it, religion is the opiate of the masses. Black people, get your lives together and wake up! You’re still enslaved by the white man’s religion!
Bottom line: Hillary Clinton is fucking awesome and has dealt with a lot of adversity but still fights on. Black people let Christianity go!
